Annual Conference

A primary objective of the FMHAC Annual Conference is to provide current information about best practices in forensic assessment and treatment, as well as practical strategies for implementation. The Annual Conference draws professionals from a variety of disciplines and fosters communication, collaboration, and networking among these professionals with the goal of improving services related to mentally ill offenders. Over the past 15 years, an average of 450 psychologists, psychiatrists, LCSWs, MFTs, RNs, probation officers, police officers, and other correctional and law enforcement professionals have attended the conference annually.

Each year, the conference includes Juvenile, Legal, , Clinical and Sex Offender tracks, as well as a Words to Deeds track for group discourse. FMHAC continues to scan the field to fulfill the most current training needs in forensic mental health.
